As a woman, wife and neighbor her most admirable quality is her ability to meet every challenge with great optimism. With her there seem to be no limits, “today is the gasification program, tomorrow the sewerage. Once we have the gas we will go in search of new water systems, after that who know what our next mission will be.” ....
Knowledge Comes With Experience meet, Luisa Coronel Luisa Coronel’s life in the town of San Noberto, in Moreno is full of anecdotes that are at times light and others more serious but nevertheless they are always interesting. Her story begins in the province of Santiago del Estero in Northwest Argentina. Sister to eight siblings and daughter to a farming family, life wasn’t always easy growing up in rural Argentina....
The benefits of micro credits presenting the story of Etelvina Campos, someone who believes in breaking the poverty cycle Etelvina Campos moved from central Argentina to Buenos Aires as a small child. Her story details the family move to Cuartel V and the expansion of the family home. Despite the death of her husband she managed to continue building her home thanks to the help of her children. She joined with other neighbors to bring electricity to her community. In 1995 the Foundation arrived in the neighborhood and the first micro credit solidarity groups were set up. With the help of the micro credit scheme, her lifelong dream shared with her late husband of owning their own, home was made possible.... The power of the community, Introducing the life story of Luli Avelleneda one of the many helping the dreams of her neighbors come true Luli Avellaneda moved to Moreno from Lomas de Zamora at the Young age of 21. At the time the life in her town was a world away from the one she knows today there was no electricity, water or gas. These circumstances left her feeling very sad. However as time passed she soon realized that the more the suburb grew the more neighbors found themselves in the same position. She had always wanted to improve the community and motivate others to aspire to the same objective of transforming the suburb. Working with the Foundation she made many friends and together they began the fight to bring gas to the neighborhood. As a result of her hard work and impressive results she joined the Organized Community and eventually the Cooperative of Public Services of which she was elected president. For more than three years she has been working with these organizations to convert their community into the one which they dream of....
